Labor safety is the state of workers’ protectability provided by a complex arrangement that exclude the effects of harmful and (or) hazardous production factors on workers in the process of labor activity.
Labor protection is a system for ensuring the safety of life and health of workers in the process of labor activity, including legal, socio-economic, organizational, technical, sanitary and epidemiological, medical and preventive, rehabilitation and other actions and means.
Conditions of labor safety – compliance of the labor process and the production environment with the requirements of safety and labor protection when the employee performs labor duties.
Labor duties – obligations of the employee and the employer, stipulated by regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the act of the employer, labor, collective agreements.
Personal protective equipment – means intended to protect an employee from exposure to harmful and (or) hazardous production factors, including special clothing.
Hazardous production factor – a production factor, the impact of which on an employee can lead to temporary or permanent disability (work injury or occupational disease) or death.
Production activity – a set of actions by workers using the means of labor necessary to turn resources into ready products, including the production and reprocessing of various types of raw materials, the provision of various types of services and the performance of work.
